Samina Naz Siddiqui

Samina Naz Siddiqui holds a degree of Master of Sciences in Biotechnology. She has been with the firm since 2009. She also has certifications in various distance learning IP courses from international and local forums such as WIPO, Harvard Law School, EPO, KIPO and IPO.

With a wealth of experience in Patent prosecution matters, she brings valuable expertise to advising clients on a comprehensive range of patent-related activities. Her involvement spans advising on Patents' filing strategies, navigating examination reports, skillful drafting of claims, managing general correspondence, overseeing assignments, conducting searches, and offering opinions on both patentability and validity.

Beyond her individual responsibilities, she plays an active role in a variety of national and international intellectual property forums. She has also organized and conducted awareness workshops at local universities and educational institutions, aimed at educating students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and startups/SMEs on the importance and practical application of intellectual property rights.

Her commitment to the field extends further as she currently serves as a volunteer in the Geographical Indication Committee of the Standing Committee of the International Trade Mark Association (INTA), exemplifying her dedication to the advancement of intellectual property standards and practices. She is a member of INTA and APAA.
